This biannual forum will explore how social media can be used as a strategic tool for career advancement, leadership, and influence, without compromising values or well-being.

Our keynote speaker, Sylk Sotto, will present a thoughtful, practical framework for engaging with social media in ways that align with personal goals, professional identity, and sustainable boundaries. Attendees will then participate in a guided reflection, small-group dialogue, and coaching-style exercises to examine their relationship with visibility, voice, and influence through social media. Whether you are just beginning to explore professional social media use or are engaging more intentionally as a leader, this forum offers space to reflect, learn from peers, and identify next steps that feel aligned and achievable.

By the end of this forum, participants will be able to:

Articulate how professional visibility and social media engagement can support career advancement and leadership goals across career stages.Identify strategies for engaging with social media that align with personal values, professional identity, and sustainable boundaries.Differentiate between intentional, strategic social media use and performative or misaligned visibility.Reflect on personal barriers to visibility, including confidence, risk, and imposter syndrome, and learn techniques to address them.Develop a personalized, actionable next step for using social media in support of career goals.
