Writing the Pandemic is a generative writing workshop focused on exploring different aspects of this time of social/physical distance.

Join us as we use writing prompts to get started on a poem or piece of flash nonfiction. While we write, we can share and think a bit about where we are in this historic time.

Nothing to fear but fear itself? FDR might not say that right now. We will face, or at least peek, at the monsters and our own particular phobias. Writing prompts will encourage you to bring to light to the dark moments we face during this difficult time.

Everyone is welcome no matter your writing experience!

Length of workshop will vary based on participants, but will not exceed one hour.

  • Required materials: pencil/pen and paper, or your computer (however you choose to write)
