In this generative workshop, Pitt Visiting Lecturer Fred Shaw will guide participants through writing exercises that bring characters to life on the page. Together, we’ll explore how voice, figurative language, and empathy can deepen our understanding of others through poetry. All are welcome—no experience necessary, and snacks will be provided.
