Join Dr. Schäfer for a discussion about new methodological approaches to the history of science and technology and the debates surrounding the ownership of knowledge, particularly the roles of science, social sciences, and heritage in shaping these discussions. Dr. Schäfer will also discuss a new project that uses material culture to reshape understandings of Chinese history during the 12th-14th centuries.
