Who Gets the Data?

Ellen Wright Clayton of Vanderbilt University will explore requirements for increased transparency and sharing of primary data. Comparing recent actions by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Clayton will probe what is at stake in these requirements and suggest guidelines for setting limits on how far these mandates should extend.

Today's speaker, Ellen Wright Clayton, MD, JD, is Craig-Weaver Professor of Pediatrics and professor of Health Policy in the Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and professor of law at Vanderbilt University.
