Please join us on Friday, May 24, 2024, for the White Coats Against Racism & Injustice Kneel at the Montefiore Roundabout Lawn on Buffalo Street. Join us as we kneel for 9 minutes and 29 seconds in solidarity at 1:15 pm. The purpose of this event is to unify against hatred and violence based on race within our Black, Brown, and Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.

The tentative agenda for this event includes:

12:50 pm – Music by DJ

12:55 pm-1:14 pm – Speakers: Dean Shekhar, Dr. Naudia Jonassaint, and Dr. Rickquel Tripp

1:15 pm-1:24 pm – Unified kneel by everyone

1:25 pm – Closing remarks by community member Felicia Savage Friedman and Freedom House Ambulance Chief John Moon

Two food trucks will also be available at the event to provide free food.
