About this Event
U.S. export control regulations have been in place for decades and are meant to protect our most valuable commodities and technologies from passing into the hands of our adversaries. Although these regulations were primarily created for the commercial sector, there are many parts of these regulations that apply to common research and business functions at universities.
This webinar will explain the foundational principles of the U.S. export control regulations and how they apply to common research and business activities found on a university campus. There will also be a discussion around how these principles are being used within the broader topic of research security.
