University of Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra: A Conversation with Memory

Pitt's Symphony Orchestra performs a new work by Daniel S. Godfrey for clarinet and orchestra, A Conversation with Memory. The composition is in memory of Roger Hendrix who was a Professor of biology at Pitt and played clarinet in our orchestra for many years. Godfrey's new work features faculty soloist Mary Beth Malek. The orchestra closes out the program with Johannes Brahms's Symphony no. 4.
