The tenth annual event will give young researchers an opportunity to present their work and expand their scientific professional skill set in addressing "health disparities" - gaps in health status, quality, or equity in any studied population relative to the comparable majority (or more commonly studied) population.  Prizes are awarded for "Best Poster" in the following categories:  Graduate Students; First Professional Student; Postdoctoral Trainee; and Best Community Service Project.  Posters will be presented in Dental Medicine; Medicine; Nursing; Pharmacy; Public Health; Health & Rehabilitation Sciences; Psychology; and Social Work.  The event takes place on Thursday, March 26th, 2020, from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Thomas Starzl Biomedical Science Tower, south lobby.  For additional information, please contact the Office of Health Sciences Diversity at 412-648-2066 or diversity@hs.pitt.edu.
