On Tuesday, February 20 at 3 PM, the Center for Governance and Markets will host Tymofiy Mylovanov, who will speak on the War in Ukraine. Mylovanov is President of the Kyiv School of Economics and Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. The talk will be held at the Barco Law Building Room 111 and on Zoom.
In addition to his roles at Pitt and the Kyiv School of Economics, he served as the Minister of Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture of Ukraine under President Volodymyr Zelensky. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. His academic research is focused on game theory and institutional design and he has been published in prestigious academic journals, and he co-founded the Ukrainian think tank, VoxUkraine.
Mylovanov is one of the most dynamic speakers on issues of Transatlantic security, economic sanctions, and many other topics.
