(Limited to no more than 15 people per event. Attendees must be 18 years old; no children).

 

We are pleased to extend an invitation to join us for a tour of the University of Pittsburgh Library System’s Library Resource Center located at 7500 Thomas Boulevard. You will have an opportunity to visit our reading room where researchers interact with our unique materials as well as get a sneak peek “behind the scenes” which will include our preservation lab and archival storage areas. You will also get to see our massive high-density storage area where millions of books are currently housed. Please join us for an engaging tour of our space!

 

All visitors must sign in with the guard at the main entrance before 5:30 PM. No ID is necessary, but we need to have a record of each person who is in the facility. There is free parking, but we also ask that each car and license plate is registered with the guard.

 

The Archives/Thomas tours there cannot be any last-minute registration or walk-in You must be registered and 18 years+ to enter for the tour. Tours are limited to 15 people per event.
