Three Minute Thesis: Speaking to Non-Specialists

This is a past event.

In collaboration with the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Studies, this workshop will provide you with information to prepare for the 2022 Pitt Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. This year's competition is a virtual event and is now open to ALL eligible Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) students. Winners will be announced live via Zoom at noon on Monday, April 4.

In this workshop, Meghan Culpepper, from the Office of the Provost, will review the rules and eligibility requirements for the 3MT Competition, and Dr. Joel Brady will provide students with helpful hints and tips to prepare a three-minute oration and an accompanying presentation slide of their research.
