Kathleen George, acclaimed mystery writer and Pitt professor will read from her new novel, "The Blues Walked In," an imagined life of Lena Horne.
The book focuses on Horne's connection to the Hill District, and focuses on issues of race, class and education. Copies will be available for purchase and signing.
