About this Event
The Gender and Science Initiative welcomes all Pitt faculty, students, and staff back to the Gender and Science Reading Group! Each semester, the Gender and Science Reading Group will read texts related to a common general theme relevant to our interdisciplinary community. This semester, our theme is "Trans Media," and will consider how members of the LGBTQIA+ community has created communities and repurposed digital spaces and technologies. We are delighted to welcome two authors, Avery Dame-Griff and Oliver Haimson, to discuss their work. All are welcome to participate. We are very happy to welcome you to any or all meetings--you do not need to commit to all three meetings to register. We look forward to welcoming you! To register for the reading group and get access to readings, please fill out this form: https://bit.ly/GenSciReading
