Teaching a six-week course can be challenging. Covering a full course in a third of the time is a difficult proposition for both students and instructors. In summer 2020, instructors will offer these compressed courses in a remote format. In this workshop, we will identify the distinctive characteristics of a six-week course. Participants will learn about relevant elements of remote instruction, discuss the associated challenges, and identify some strategies that apply to meet those challenges.
All workshops will be conducted via Zoom, are approximately one hour in length, and all times are EDT.
Please register to attend. You will receive an email with a Zoom meeting link prior to the virtual workshop.
Please contact workshops@teaching.pitt.edu for any questions.
