MLK Social Justice Symposium

Each year the Office of Cultural and Leadership Development honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  by hosting a Social Justice Symposium.

This year the office will be partnering with Student Affairs Committee on Diversity and Inclusion.  The theme chosen is “Creating a Just Community by Making the Unconscious Conscious.”

This symposium will assist in recognizing our bias and  learn how it can affect our colleagues and the students we serve.

Breakout Sessions will include the following:

  • Disability Bias
  • Bias in the Workplace
  • Political Bias
  • Racial Bias
  • Gender Bias

Thursday, January 24 at 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
