As a large and complex organization, the University provides a wide array of opporunities for faculty to engage in supporting its mission beyond their core roles as teachers and researchers.
In providing this support, faculty build networks that extend beyond their departmental affiliations, learn about the workings of the institution and the landscape of higher ed, collaborate in helping take on challenges and exploit opportunities, and help sustain an environment conducive to the success of their students and colleagues. Through their discussion, the panelists will introduce interested faculty to a myraid of opporunities for faculty engagement, and share personal experiences, triumphs, challenges, and lessons learned.
