Did you hear? Flexible work arrangements for staff at Pitt, such as flexible work schedule, compressed week, telecommuting, and job sharing, do exist! Working from home certainly does not suit everyone. And while giving up the daily commute and working in your PJs might sound amazing, it’s necessary to give real thought as to whether it will really work for you. Meant to enhance the work-life experience of the staff person by increasing work productivity and efficiency while giving back time to personal/family life, it also tends to increase workplace loyalty and retention of personnel. It is a win-win situation for employee and employer alike when correctly implemented.
Come join us in welcoming our four panelists who will share their successful implementation of flexible work arrangements in their responsibility areas/units. Flexibility in the workplace is the operative word! There will be a Q&A period.
