 f Ombuds Services for the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences 
 and the College of General Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. She ho
 lds a BS in Psychology and an MSW from Pitt and is a licensed social worke
 r in Pennsylvania. A certified workplace mediator and trainer\, Lisa speci
 alizes in conflict resolution and organizational communication. \n\nWith 3
 3 years of service at Pitt\, her experience spans leadership roles in the 
 School of Medicine\, Public Health\, and Arts and Sciences. In her current
  role\, she provides confidential\, impartial support to faculty\, staff\,
  students\, and postdocs\, focusing on mediation\, conflict resolution\, a
 nd navigating formal reporting channels. \n\n \n\nPresentation Focus:\n\nT
 here are many ombudspersons at Pitt who support students in their respecti
 ve schools. Lisa’s office was created to support faculty\, staff\, stude
 nts\, and post-docs. This presentation will focus on the types of services
  available to staff through an ombuds office and what an ombuds can and ca
 n’t do. Formal reporting channels\, mediation and conflict resolution sk
 ill building will also be discussed.
