responsible use of generative AI in teaching\, learning\, and faculty profe
ssional development.\n\n \n\nThis Spotlight presentation will focus on Engi
neering Your Mindset: Strategies to Challenge Perfectionism & Imposter Synd
rome\n\nIn the fast-paced environment of higher education\, staff are often
expected to be the "fixers"—managing high-stakes deadlines\, supporting st
udent success\, and navigating complex administrative systems. This culture
of high standards can lead to two common professional hurdles: perfectioni
sm and imposter syndrome (also known as imposter phenomenon). \n\nWhen left
unaddressed\, the pressure to be perfect can lead to burnout\, decision fa
tigue\, and a fear of taking initiative. \n\nJoin us for a one-hour interac
tive workshop designed specifically for higher education professionals. We
will move beyond theory to offer a practical toolkit for building sustainab
le confidence and resilience in your role. \n\nWorkshop Objectives: \n\nIde
ntify the triggers of perfectionism in an academic setting. \n\nApply strat
egies to silence "imposter" internal dialogue. \n\nLearn to foster a cultur
e of progress over perfection within your team.
