  spent more than three decades proving that higher education isn't just a 
 career\, it's a calling. Her journey has taken her from Pitt Athletics to 
 the North Carolina State University Alumni Association and back home to th
 e University of Pittsburgh\, where she has built a career centered on crea
 ting meaningful experiences and lasting relationships.\n\nToday\, as Direc
 tor of Conference Services and Events within Hospitality at Pitt\, Jana le
 ads a team that welcomes everyone from prospective students and internatio
 nal conference attendees to alumni\, wedding couples\, and campus partners
 . She believes hospitality is one of the most powerful ways to tell a univ
 ersity's story and that every guest should leave feeling like they experie
 nced the very best of Pitt and Pittsburgh.\n\nKnown for her infectious ent
 husiasm\, collaborative leadership\, and people-first approach\, Jana is p
