Six Word Stories: An Interactive Exhibit

Stories connect us. This interactive exhibit displays Six Word Stories about identity from our community. And with those six words, an understanding between two people may either begin to be built, or strengthened.

We welcome you to observe other’s stories and share your Six Word Story, to advocate for respect of an identity that may include faith, culture, ethnicity, family, gender, mental health, or other aspect of identity you are comfortable sharing.

As you post your story:

  • Please be respectful in what you post – this is an opportunity to discuss what defines us, not divides us
  • Please do not remove others’ postings –staff will remove inappropriate or offensive posts
  • Stories will be archived and made publicly available post-exhibit

Six Word Stories is a collaboration between the Open Door Project and University Library System and is being made possible by a grant from the Provost’s Year of Creativity.
