You’re likely familiar with the IRB review and oversight process for studies here at Pitt, but what if an external IRB is overseeing your project? Use of a single IRB (sIRB) for multi-site and collaborative research is becoming more commonplace and is now required for most non-exempt human subject research supported by federal funding. Be better prepared to navigate this new regulatory landscape by joining us for this 1 hour virtual presentation addressing the following: 
  
•    Requesting Pitt cede to an external IRB
•    Local considerations and ancillary reviews
•    Submitting your external application in PittPRO
•    When and what to report to us over the life of your ceded study
