SETPoint FORCE: Foundations of Respect, Confidence, and Empowerment

This outside program will require participates to social distance and wear masks

FORCE is a two-part Empowerment-Based Self Defense (ESD) workshop series. Grounded in academic research, SETPoint curriculum offers a multi-faceted approach which provides a powerful, coordinated, and preventative approach to reducing sexual assault and gender-based violence. SETPoint offers a broad picture of “self-defense” that does not focus solely on physical resistance skills, but emphasizes empowerment training that helps individuals find their voice, project confidence, learn to interpret a situation, and know that they have the right and the strength to act upon a situation. In addition, SETPoint coaching philosophy is trauma-informed and gender inclusive. Upon completion, participants will receive a Giant Eagle gift certificate, a mask and self-defense munio.
