SETPoint Empowerment Self Defense Training

Join SETpoint as we explore ways to enhance personal safety through the basics of Empowerment Self Defense (ESD). ESD curriculum offers a multi-faceted perspective that provides a powerful, coordinated, and preventative approach to reducing sexual assault and gender-based violence. SETpoint’s coaching philosophy is trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and inclusive.

This in-person 90-minute outdoor session will introduce:

  • Situational Awareness: learning to recognize unhealthy behaviors and situations;
  • Boundary Setting through voice and stance;
  • Effective concepts for Physical Resistance; and
  • Survivor Advocacy and Resources.
