Jonathan Heller will present video game music he has composed for his senior project. Heller’s talk will include a brief introduction to video game music (what it is and how it is different than traditional academic/art music), an explanation of his choice to pursue video game music for his project, and how he learned to create it. His presentation will also explain Art style and storyline to the pre-production game for which he composed the soundtrack, as well as where each of his compositions falls in the story of the game, and how it relates to the gameplay and setting.
