Presentation Title

The Strength of the Chain is in its Weakest Link: Drug Shortages

Presentation Abstract

Amidst rising concerns over medication shortages and their impact on healthcare access, our study team aims to dissect the underlying dynamics of drug supply chains and medication access. With a focus on supply chains and drug utilization, the research aims to uncover the interplay between supply chain vulnerabilities and policy frameworks shaping drug accessibility in the U.S. and globally. This presentation will highlight studies that determine the frequency of and patterns of shortages, access to medications, and how data can be used for research and development of predictive models on supply chains.
