Roundtable: Digital and Spatial Approaches to the History of Slavery

The World History Center and the Center for Latin American Studies will host a roundtable panel about digital and spatial methods for depicting the history and memory of slavery at scales that range from the transregional to the local.  This event will be a conversation featuring Keila Grinberg (University of Pittsburgh), Karl Grossner (WHC Affiliate), Ruth Mostern (University of Pittsburgh), and Daryle Williams (UC Riverside).  Panelists will also focus on three digital projects, Enslaved: Peoples of Historic Slave TradePassados Presentes, and World Historical Gazetteer
