About this Event
We’ve all been there: you’re rushing to meet a deadline and can’t find the draft you need. Or maybe you’ve saved over your analysis and now must restart from scratch. In this online, 20-minute presentation, we’ll discuss some current recommended research practices for keeping your files organized and mitigating risk. Topics include: directory and file naming; directory structure; the best way to represent calendar dates; project documentation; backups; and version control. Time will be available for Q&A.
