About this Event
The Research Equity and Community Health (REACH) Health Equity Seminar Series welcomes Rosta Farzan, PhD, Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information, as its featured speaker on February 15th. Dr. Farzan will be presenting a talk titled, Building Just Technologies: A Community-Engaged Approach to Design of Socio-Technical Systems.
REACH invites investigators and research staff of all career stages and health equity research experience to participate in our ongoing monthly seminar. Because our virtual seminars are designed to foster active participation and discussion, we strongly encourage attendees to turn their cameras on and join in the conversation. For more information about how to participate in our monthly virtual seminar, please contact Samantha Haubner at haubners@upmc.edu.
Please let us know if you require an accommodation in order to participate in this event. Accommodations may include live captioning, ASL interpreters, and/or captioned media and accessible documents from recorded events. At least 5 days in advance is recommended.
