Research at the University of Pittsburgh for New Faculty: Humanities and Social Sciences

This is a past event.

As new faculty, you are joining one of the country's best public research universities and an exceptional community of scholars.

This session is part of New Faculty Orientation which will be presented by Shelome Gooden, Ph.D., Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research in the Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Related Fields.

Pitt Research is the heart of the research engine at the University of Pittsburgh, and this presentation provides an overview of the resources we provide to all researchers. Beyond resources, Dr. Gooden will also highlight how PittResearch is well poised to promote research of impact while also fostering a research environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and community for faculty in the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and related fields.
