Research at the University of Pittsburgh for New Faculty: Engineering & the Sciences

This is a past event.

As new faculty, you are joining one of the country's best public research universities and an exceptional community of scholars.

This session is part of New Faculty Orientation, which will be presented by David A. Vorp, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Research at the Swanson School of Engineering. This presentation will give an overview of the research infrastructure – including key offices, people, policies and procedures – at the University. Some Centers and Institutes of potential interest to STEM faculty will be introduced as well. Significant time will be reserved for open dialogue Q&A, so come prepared with your questions!

Please let us know if you require accommodation to participate in this event. Accommodations may include live captioning, ASL interpreters, and/or captioned media and accessible documents from recorded events.

Dial-In Information

You will receive an email with a Zoom meeting link after a successful registration.

Please contact workshops@teaching.pitt.edu for any questions.

Wednesday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
