This virtual session will provide new and current researchers an overview of recruitment methods for human participant research. This training includes a description of different methods of recruitment, an explanation of the IRB definition of the prohibited practice of cold-calling and how researchers can navigate this in their research, the necessary components of the planned recruitment method required by the IRB, and the importance of an appropriate recruitment methods plan for your research.

You should attend this session if you are involved in the conduct of any human subjects research.
