About this Event
The Research Equity and Community Health (REACH) Health Equity Seminar Series welcomes Danella Hafeman, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Erin Belback, the Project Director for the SAMHSA Healthy Transitions grant, STEAM (Successful Transitions to Early Adulthood Milestones) at UPMC, and Megan “Memphis” Kastner, CPS, a Peer Specialist I and Youth and Young Adult Coordinator with the STEAM Project at UPMC, as its featured speakers on April 17th. They will present a talk titled, Full STEAM Ahead: Incorporating Peer Specialists into Outpatient Clinics for Young People with Mood Disorders.
REACH invites investigators and research staff of all career stages and health equity research experience to participate in our ongoing monthly seminar. Because our virtual seminars are designed to foster active participation and discussion, we strongly encourage attendees to turn their cameras on and join in the conversation. For more information about how to participate in our monthly virtual seminar, please contact Samantha Haubner at haubners@upmc.edu.
Please let us know if you require an accommodation in order to participate in this event. Accommodations may include live captioning, ASL interpreters, and/or captioned media and accessible documents from recorded events. At least 5 days in advance is recommended.
