Join the Office of Inclusion and Belonging for a movie night! The event will begin with a screening of The Janes. The Janes is a documentary produced in 2022 that follows abortion activists in the pre-Roe v. Wade era. Calling themselves 'Jane,' they built an underground network for people with unwanted pregnancies and provided low-cost and free illegal abortions to an estimated 11,000 people. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion featuring perspectives from reproductive and gender-affirming care experts. The discussion will focus on the intersections of reproductive justice and gender-affirming care.
