Reducing Health Disparities Across the Lifespan conference

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute's (CTSI) 2021 Lifespan conference brings together distinguished researchers from across the United States, as well as local academics and clinicians in a collaborative study of research across the lifespan.

This two day conference will be held Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14. This year we focus on the processes, course, and impact of health disparities across the lifespan and on fostering collaborations among partners in science. Presentations will center on biology and diseases, with topics ranging from understanding social and structural determinants of health and improving health outcomes in historically underrepresented in biomedical research populations across the lifespan. The talks will be relevant to basic and clinical researchers, health professionals and trainees, and are designed to shed light on trajectories that shape development and lifelong transitions.

This activity is approved for the following credit: AMA PRA Category 1 Credit and ANCC.

Sponsored by CTSI and Magee-Womens Research Institute.

Registration is required and space is limited. Deadline to register is May 12. Visit ctsi.pitt.edu/lifespan for more information.

Friday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
