The Clinical and Translational Science Institute's (CTSI) Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Center serves as a resource for researchers at the University of Pittsburgh. Our objective is to provide education so that you can learn to effectively recognize and avoid research misconduct and understand the resources that are available to support your research. Publication of results is the point of a trial and collected data may need to be groomed and summarized for proper analysis. Topics will include creation of analysis variables and summary datasets, periodic database freezes, and cataloging of analysis data, programs, and results (subject matter: data acquisition).
