Join us for the Racial Equity Consciousness Institute’s free community learning cohort, starting October 1st

RECI creates space for honest reflection, engaging learning and collective dialogue. Through a critical systems thinking approach, participants explore the deep structures that sustain racism and consider how we might shift them together. Join us for an ongoing practice of learning, sharing and community building.

Participants can look forward to:

  • Thought-provoking sessions that deepen understanding of systemic racism

  • Opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences with colleagues across Pitt and the wider community

  • Collaborative exploration of strategies to advance racial equity in everyday contexts

  • Space to build authentic relationships in a supportive learning community

  • Shared meals and refreshments to sustain conversation, plus RECI materials and swag to carry the work forward

Whether you are just beginning your racial equity journey or have long been engaged in this work, the fall RECI cohort offers a meaningful opportunity to learn, connect and grow alongside others committed to racial justice. Register today: RECI Fall 2025 Cohort Registration
