The Race &... Lecture Series is a part of the Race and Social Determinants of Equity, Health, and Well-being Cluster Hire Initiative. The lunchtime speaker series provides a spotlight for each new faculty member to present their work and interests. 

Alston, Assistant Professor of Medicine and GIM Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Initiatives, will present African American Fathers’ Involvement in their Children’s Education: Identifying ways to connect research on African American Fathers in education to structural racism and the health of Black Families.
