This webinar will provide guidance for caregivers in public health emergency response settings to help manage their stress levels and build resiliency by practicing self-care. We will discuss evidence-informed approaches for frontline public health and health care providers to practice self-care in public health crisis contexts, while enhancing self-awareness of signs of personal stress. We will also describe best practices for assisting coworkers experiencing excess stress.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • describe why prioritizing self-care in public health professionals and health care providers is important;
  • describe signs of possible excess stress in oneself and one’s colleagues; and
  • list at least five ways to practice daily self-care and one way to help colleagues who are experiencing excess stress.

Registration closes on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at noon.
