The Archives & Special Collections department at the University of Pittsburgh Library System is happy to invite you to a workshop dedicated to the preservation of family archives at the CEC. This 90-minute workshop will include a short presentation about techniques you can use at home to take care of your family archives and artifacts and a Q&A session when you will have the opportunity to ask questions about material you would like to preserve, display, or learn more about. Participants are invited to bring one small item for preservation evaluation and guidance. They will be able to bring home a small archival kit. Advance registration is required.
Please let us know if you require an accommodation in order to participate in this event. Accommodations may include live captioning, ASL interpreters, and/or captioned media and accessible documents from recorded events. At least 5 days in advance is recommended.
