The 2024 PQI annual event will take place on 4/17/2024 hosted for the first time at Carnegie Mellon University

We are excited to announce that Professor Robert Schoelkopf (Yale University) will present the public lecture this year.
We will explore three topics of interest to all of our members.  First, a panel will discuss government quantum priorities and funding opportunities.  Accepted speakers include Dr. Jacob Taylor (NIST) and Dr. Claire Cramer (DOE).  Next, we will explore materials needed for quantum science.  Accepted speakers for this session include Professor Susanne Stemmer (UCSB), and Professor Nitin Samarth (PSU).  Third, we will explore designs and tools required to build a quantum computing environment, and speakers include Dr. Yunong Shi (Amazon), and Professor Yufei Ding (UCSD). Finally, PQI 2024 will also feature an opportunity for students to present their work in a poster session.
