Presented by Dr. Page Dobbs, assistant professor at the University of Arkansas in the Health, Human Performance and Recreation Department. A Center for Social Dynamics and Community Health event.
Dobbs will begin as the interim director for the Center for Public Health and Technology at the University of Arkansas on November 1. She earned her PhD from the University of Arkansas in community health promotion in 2016 and held tenure-track appointments at SUNY Cortland and the University of Oklahoma before returning to the University of Arkansas in 2020.
Dobbs' research broadly focuses on tobacco regulatory science and social factors that influence e-cigarette use among vulnerable populations. Her current research seeks to explore critical issues about policy loopholes, enforcement practices, and industry interference with tobacco access laws via social media data.
