Free EventThe Pittsburgh Quantum Institute (PQI) will host its annual event for all that are interested in the latest research in quantum information science.
Monday starts with a tutorial for professionals interested in learning about the field. (There is a charge for the tutorial.). On subsequent days there are presentations given by Charlie Tahan, Director, National Quantum Coordination Office at the Executive Office of the President; Margaret Martonosi, Assistant Director for Computer and Information Science and Engineering at the National Science Foundation; and Nicole Yunger Halpern, NIST Physicist and Adjunct Asst. Professor at the University of Maryland.
