What makes an idea a good Pitt Seed project?

  • Strong alignment with the Plan for Pitt
  • Broad impact for the institution
  • An interdisciplinary team

Faculty and staff on all campuses are invited to submit a 90-second video pitching a project that addresses one or more of the three pillars in theĀ Plan for Pitt. If selected, you will participate in program empowerment training to potentially move your proposal forward. Participants will receive $2,000 stipends and up to $1,000 of professional development support during the cohort phase.

You can learn more about our new-and-improved Pitt Seed Program design by attending one of our virtual information sessions or by visiting theĀ Pitt Seed Project webpage, which includes an updated frequently asked questions section.
