Join Pitt Honors for the final Alumni Breakfast of fall term on Nov. 9 with Kimaya Padgaonkar and Claire Barrett!

Kimaya is a 2015 Pitt Honors graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering and minors in Bioengineering & Economics. Since graduating, she has been working as a consultant at ZS Associates, a global consulting firm, starting in New York City, then Philadelphia, and most recently in London, UK.  Through her work, she helps clients & brands in the health care industry globally with strategic decisions and operations, particularly in the customer-centric marketing and digital strategy space. She has found a passion in leveraging her professional skills for pro bono consulting with nonprofit organizations. Kimaya is also a current member of the inaugural Pitt UHC Alumni Board. 

Claire 
is a 2015 Pitt Honors graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering with minors in French and Chemistry. For the past six years she’s worked at the global chemical company BASF at manufacturing sites in Michigan, Texas, and Alabama. Claire is currently a production engineer supporting the manufacturing of polyols, which go into polyurethane applications to make various foams (think the seat in your car, your memory foam mattress). She co-founded the Sustainability in Production community to help share and implement best practices in across North America to reduce waste and emissions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time tutoring, supporting her parish’s Green Team, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and biking around Detroit.
