Apragmatism: Communication Disorders Associated with
Right Hemisphere Damage

Apragmatism is a new label for the communication disorders associated with right hemisphere brain damage, characterized by difficulties manipulating and processing languagewithin communicative contexts. Examples of linguistic, paralinguistic, and extralinguistic
components of apragmatism will be provided, along with the functional impacts of the deficits.
