Unconscious Bias in the Workplace

Unconscious bias of preferences often influence the way we deliver care, make decisions, and interact with others. Everyone has blind spots that risk impacting patient care delivery, the overall patient experience, and our interactions with others in the workplace. Awareness and management of our unconscious biases is important and can mitigate adverse results in the way we do our work.
