Please join SSOE ECE, SHREC, and Pitt Space in welcoming Dr. Kaushik Rajashekara to its Distinguished Speaker Event on Thursday, April 30th at 10:30am in BEH1145. He will present his work related to "Propulsion for Electricification of Air Transportation - Net=zero Greenhouse Gas Emission Aircraft". 

Dr. Rajashekara (Fellow, IEEE) received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. In `1989 he joined the Delphi division of General Motors, Co. as Technical Fellow and Chief Scientist. In 2006 he Rolls-Royce Corporation as a Chief Technologist. 

Since 2012 he has served as a Distinguished Professor at the University of Texas.
