DESCRIPTION:UPJ Upcycle is a way to redirect unwanted items from landfills\
 , and potentially into the hands of UPJ community members who can get more 
 use from them! Students who donate are given tickets\, which they can then 
 use to shop for items donated by others. Everyone can also shop for items w
 ith cash\, with all items (regardless of value) sold for $1 each. All cash 
 profits will go to the PJ Provides Campus Food Pantry initiative and other 
 similar student wellness projects.\n\nDonations should focus on college stu
 dent friendly items - clothes\, shoes\, kitchen accessories\, stationery an
 d office supplies\, etc. We also encourage donations of business attire for
  both this event and our Career Closet housed in Career Services (students 
 can borrow clothing for interviews and job fairs) and cold weather wear (co
 ats\, hats\, scarves\, etc.).\n\nPlease\, no large furniture (desk chairs a
 nd bookcases/storage drawers are OK)\, no outdated electronics\, TVs\, or u
 ndergarments (gently used bras may be donated separately for our local wome
 n's shelter). Food items and toiletries will be accepted for direct donatio
 n to PJ Provides.\n\nItems remaining at the end of the event will be donate
 d to Goodwill Industries of the Southern Alleghenies and other local non-pr
 ofit agencies as appropriate.\n\nShopping will occur Wednesday and Thursday
